What do I need to do to become a Computer Security Specialist?
-
I am a senior in high school. I want to be Computer Security Specialist. It's something that I have done a decent amount of research on but I can't quite find what exactly I need to do after graduating. What is the smartest thing for me to do? Go get a BS degree in Computer Science? I'm willing to work hard, and eventually I would love to work for a Government agency like the FBI or Homeland Security, etc. But I have no Idea how to get there. Thanks in advance!

Answer:
You'll want to start with a degree in CS. And since you're interested in government work, there are several programs where they'll pay for your education in exchange for you working for them for several years. One example is http://www.sis.pitt.edu/~lersais/
