How do some websites BLOCK some users from their sites?

I'm looking to get a porn filter, but i visit gambling websites. Would the filter block the gambling sites?

  • What is the best filter? Does anyone have one set up? I've searched answers and i see that most responses are people try to advertise their product. Testimonials would be good. It would be great if someone could also answer my question about porn filters blocking gambling sites too, thanks!

    You can use NetDog Porn Filter : http://www.netdogsoft.com it blocks porn automatically and quitely in the background when you're on the computer. To block gambling websites, you can add them to 'Always blocked website list' in NetDogAdmin.exe , it's easy to use.

Try using s/w that block keyword filtering websites and also Malwares .. Like if you type P**n the s/w will open all those websites in their search list, then select them to block it through that S/w , further you can also stop opening that if you password protect it ..and that does by only one s/w that I heard is Desksense ..
