How to download a antivirus or internet security program with no Internet.?

  • My college recently updated there security system because people that didn't go to the school were using the schools Internet so I have to install a clean access thing in order to get Internet but when I try it keeps tellin me I need an updated security because I had norton but it expired three months ago so I cnt download a new one cause I dnt have Internet. How can I download one without Internet. I did try avg by downloading it onto a flashdrive but when I tried to put it on my computer it said it couldn't download because of no Internet connection so if it's easier to do it with a flashdrive which will download with no Internet for free. I just need one good enough to let me get through the process of getting Internet then I can download a better one later.

    If it is a laptop, you can always take it to a coffee shop or something like that to use their wireless internet. AVG can be installed onto your computer as well, and the updates can also be saved onto the flash drive. They can be downloaded from: http://free.avg.com/ww-en/download-update

Every free or paid for antivirus has to have an internet connection for the software to be registered at the time of installation. This is the only way to get the necessary updates. Without updates, you may as well not have any antivirus installed at all. Sorry.
