Why can't I surf the web in privacy?

  • Guess what!? I don't want my ******* web browser to keep track of everywhere I go. I'm a private person. For the most part I don't have anything to hide. Yes, I do occasionally look at porn. Even without that, I really don't want people to be able to see everything I do on the net. Who is the genius who came up with auto-complete and Top Sites in safari? Whoever it was, I hope you and your entire family die from stomach cancer. As far as I can tell there is no way to disable Top Sites in Safari. ******* brilliant. So I have to use a different browser or I have to remember to specifically select the privacy browsing option EACH AND EVERY TIME I USE MY WEB BROWSER!

there a couple of options for you the only browser that i know of with plug-ins like these is Firefox i use this plug-in https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/toggle-private-browsing/ but you also might want to remove history by tools>options>privacy>change the bar to never rember history hope this helps!

Firefox has Safe Mode capability and it will delete all history.....just make sure to make it do that by going into the options...and clicking on security...

Well if you are allowed , so are the criminals. Society should allow every user privacy online, just so you can have it?
