How to remove the Antivir virus?

Antivir problems. Profile not working. Help please?

  • Recently, my brother went on my profile and then when I tried to go on it I saw that antivir security. I know it's really a virus, but when I try to remove it, nothing works. It blocked my internet, won't let me open malewarebytes antivirus, and when I try to run it in safe mode, my profile and my brothers doesn't show up, but my mom, dad, and administrator does

  • Answer:

Saw this yesterday but never got around to answering it... When you go into Safe Mode, only administrator accounts show up. I assume your brother's and your accounts aren't administrator and your parents are. It would be best to promote your profile to admin for now and then use it to run Malwarebytes since yours is the most affected profile. You won't be able to run Malwarebytes before running a couple of other steps first. I'm guessing, from what you've said, that this is the one you need: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antivir-solution-pro

NO DO NOT FORMAT!!!!!!!!! 3 ways to do this go into safe mode and make the user or go straght in windows normal boot put in ur password or just click on ur user emediatly press ctrl alt delete. and end all prosesses from antivir and explarar.exe that is the virus it took 4 days to figure the in and out of this virus..and then make ur user in controll panal..3rd is regedit.exe for advanced users but its easier the 1st solution i have...check the programs files in the c:/programs folders and delete any trace of it.Grab all your videos and pics and everything and add it to a folder everything u wanted saved back it up or store to C:drive/ users / public. create a new windows user and delete all accouts that are infected to totally erase it.. this saved my pc and i had to figure it out on my own and im passsing this to everyone that got infected post ur comments /concerns or email me for help or anything im more than willing to help.. thanx p.s. mine didnt show up in application programs to delete it nor in the programs folder its stored in registry files and system32 folder very dangerous to find and delete my suggestion just make user and folder and put ur files back where u had em..

you can try a system restore refrence this guy he has videos if you have a problem like that

Log into the admin account in safe mode, and open the internet. Go to google and type in malwarebytes. Click the first link and download the program. After it download and updates its database, open up malwarebytes and run a quick scan. Once the scan is finished click remove selected, and reboot your computer. Your computer should be fine now. If you have any other problems leave an additional post and i'll update. If your internet isn't working, open up internet explorer click internet options and then click on the connections tab. Near the bottom, click LAN settings, uncheck connect through a proxy, and recheck automatically detect settings. Exit out and the internet should work.
