How to get rid of the bloody Chinese pages when starting browsing the Internet?

Computer freezes when loading pages?

  • i have a HP Omni 100 that has been running fairly well lately. My antivirus expired a while ago so i put norton on it as a backup untill i got it back. today i opened firefox and started my usual browsing of the internet. after loading a few pages, the pages stop loading. i disconnect and reconnect to my interent, still nothing. then my computer freezes and i get that sound lag where the same sound repeats over and over and over. i restart 5 times and still same thing. i restore my computer back to 9/30/11, and it works for a while, but after about 15 pages it freezes again. if i disconnect my internet and play games without being online its fine. i scanned my computer and norton says theres no virus. since my antivirus expired about a week ago, ive only downloaded about 10-15 things, mostly games that i trust and a few minecraft mods here and there, nothing 3rd party.

Get rid of Norton its a huge program that pretty much takes over your computer and controls it. By far the worst antivirus program. Whenever somebody asks me about antivirus and they say Norton i just shake my head. Get AVG free addition there's no need to pay for antivirus. They just want your money. But as for the freeze ups and sound lag almost sounds like you have a hardware problem most likely memory going bad causing the computer freeze.

Norton may be the problem. If you decide to uninstall it, use their removal tool: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Norton-Removal-Tool.shtml For three years, I paid for Kaspersky Internet Security. I have nothing but praise for it, but many of the free products have become so good, I decided to take that route. Try downloading the free version of Avast Antivirus. Install it and get updates. Here's a link: http://www.filehippo.com/download_avast_antivirus/ Now download the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM). Again...install it and get updates. Here's a link: http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ These two programs won't conflict with one another, so long as you don't try to run them both at the same time. Hope this helps.

I would recommend you to use Immunet Antivirus protection. It is a best software and it works nicely.
