Can you get a virus from downloading a picture from a nfl teams facebook page?

Sure you can. A virus can be created to come from just about anything. For example: those digital photo frames that scroll through photos that someone has taken with a digital camera, on some digital frames awhile back, when you inserted your media card into the frame to download the photos you wanted to display, the software inside the digital frame contained a virus that was transferred to your media card. When you would use this infected media card in your computer...instant virus transfer! They were able to trace the virus back to the manufacturing plant in China where some disgruntled employees had loaded the virus on the digital photo frames being shipped abroad. Luckily, if a person had average anti virus protection, it was handled via a scan. You had to get it off of the media card too. Luckily the "employees" were just 12 or 13 years old and not real capable of creating a virus really bad yet!
