How to setup User and Password for Git server?

File server security?

• Need help...i want to build a file server in my office. but i'm still confuse about the file security setup. I want all peoples in the office can access the server but each people have different privileges to access files. How can i do that? should i create user accounts for each people in my office and set the permission in the shared folder? and how to make a computer prompt a user and password when access to the server. or maybe there is a software or utility which can manage file server security.. any help will be appreciate. Sorry for my bad English. Thank you inoy

  Create a work-group network,include in the work-group the computers that need access to your office files and folders.You need to enable shared network and shared computer in settings.Or you can use logme in the free one or paid one in your language here https://secure.logmein.com/welcome/remote_access/ choose the plan you want personal or IT create account and choose the one that fits your needs.
