Where can I get information about surface mail?

What information could someone get about you, from your e-mail address?

  • As children, we're warned to not give out personal information and such, like our e-mail addresses.. But what information could someone get from that? Like besides the obivous where you could get certain information by simply talking to the person, but otherwise? I mean, if you don't have any personal information on your windows live profile or anything, How could they get information? something valueable? just wondering..

    unnecessary comma... and it doesn't look like that really. I've never heard someone say don't give out your email address cause someone could get personal information. rather, don't give out your email address because you'll get a lot of spam.
