Does anyone knows how TeamViewer gets screen capturing?

Anyone encounter this strange glitch/virus/malware?

• First off, I am using: Windows XP Media Center Edition, version 2002, Service pack 3 Basically, I would say about 3 days ago my computer started to act strange, and I will be specific about how it is being "strange". Ok, the first problem is that programs that I open up do not have the menu bar, the bar that has the maximize and minimize buttons on them, so I must go down to the start menu, right click, and close the program. If the program window is maximized, as said before the menu bar portion at the top is gone...the background, such as the desktop is visible(or whatever window is open behind it) Or, in other words, the menu bar part is "cut out" like it is missing. If I were to right click that area the program would exit. Not every window I open up has this problem. Like for example, if I were to open up "My computer" it would be fine. BUT, if I were to open up "calculator" it would have no menu options, and no buttons at all. The same thing is true for photoshop, no buttons, MS PAINT (noooooooooo) no buttons. But anything else seems to open up fine. The second problem is that my computer will NOT defragment. The program gets an error and exits. OK....strange. So I download Piriforms (makers of C-cleaner) new program defraggler to try it out. To my surprise, IT DIDN'T WORK! So now, I cannot defragment my computor with possibly any program. Viruses and spyware/malware are not new to me...I have been able to detect and get rid of them in the past with few problems, but this one is new to me. I have already used Ad-aware and found nothing. I tried to use Spybot SD and it would not even work, and it ALWAYS worked before. I'm sure it would help to show some screen shots, but I'm sure someone will be able to picture what I am talking about. If anyone has experienced this problem and has been able to fix it, or knows how, please help me. Thanks!

  Try Malwarebytes, go to http://download.cnet.com/windows/ and download it, then update it. I also suggest Glary Registery Repair 3, also available for free at download.com Then I am assuming you have all the other protection programs you need. And they are all up to date. If not, try to update them. Take the computer off line .. Run all your scans. Sometimes a virus , or malware, will not allow the security programs to do their job while connected. Get rid of anything they find. Then after you have run all the scans and cleaned out the computer.. it is a good idea to check your Hard drive's volume, for errors. Click on Start. Then on Computer. Then right click on the C drive and go down to Properties click it. Then click the Tool tab. The first option is to check volume for errors. click it. Another pop up will come up and ask what you want it to check click both options. It will say it can't do it right now do you want to schedule it for the next restart. click yes. then shut down and reboot the computer and let it run. it will take awhile but it will repair any corrupt files in your hard drive. Then you might want to run the same fix on your data (D) drive, just to be sure. I do a drive check every couple of months. Then I would run a defrag. Good Luck ! Edit : Have you tried doing a system Restore? Go back to a date before you started having the problems.
