How can you get rid of a spreading virus?

I came home from school going on the computer and a virus was spreading quickly, No matter what I asked my friends for help but the anti virus scanner that they had gave me was infected as I was trying to get it to work.Even now as I type this, the virus is spreading and it won't let me go into Task manager or anything that I try to get rid of the virus. The Anti virus scanner that I have doesn't get rid of the virus, it only scans.. I need help badly..x.x

had this same prob...to get rid of it for good...u gotta take it in....if u dnt itl just keep coming back it wont be completely gone.....they have to "flush" the computer as they say
