How do I manually delete the cookies in Internet Explorer 8?

Do one of the following: * In Windows Vista, click Start , type inetcpl.cpl in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER * In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type inetcpl.cpl in the Open box, and then press ENTER. 3. On the General tab, click Delete under Browsing History in the Internet Properties dialog box. 4. In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click to clear all of the check boxes except for the Cookies check box. 5. Click Delete.

Step 1 Open Internet Explorer. Step 2 Click the "Safety" option at the top of the browser. Several options will be listed. Step 3 Select "Delete Browsing History." A window will open with seven different options. Step 4 Click on the "Cookies" box. A check will be added to the Cookies box. If you want, you can also do the same for the other boxes listed. go to internet options, then click "Delete" under browsing history, make sure everything except "Preserve favorites website data" is checked. That should clear out everything
