How can I get autofill to keep my passwords?

How can i get Mozilla Firefox to remember my passwords?

  • I recently switched from Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox. So far i like Firefox and think its better than Internet Explorer. But what i don't like about Firefox is that it doesn't remember my passwords. Like every time i go on i have to sign in to every thing. On internet explorer i didn't have to sign in if i checked the "Keep me signed in box". But in Firefox if i check the keep me signed in box the next time i go on im signed out! How can i make it so i don't have to sign in every time?

Other answers

usually after you sign in to something, a bar appears near the top asking if you want it to remember the password. Go to tools- options- security- remember passwords if it doesn't pop up :)

Click on Tools, go to Options, look under Security. Should have a check box for remember passwords

If you go to your internet options it should be under security. You have to enter the passwords yourself i think.

Try to clear the Cache and Delete the Cookies from site(s) that cause problems: Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now" Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
