open internet options in control panel in that u will get cookies and delete cookies option from there delete them

Usually AVG should do it? Or any anti-virus should do it too. If not, you can try CCleaner which is another freeware that would clean your cookies. You can also try ComboFix (google it) which is a little program that fixes alot of known viruses.

You should be able to delete the cookies with the scan program. You could also go into the internet settings of your browser and you should be able to delete them from there, they are usually under a privacy tab, or something similar.

Cookies are not viruses. The are just small text files and many websites will stop working properly if you didn't allow them. The only concern is tracking cookies and because they can only be read by he domain that wrote them to your computer only work because people keep putting advertising on their website to make a couple of dollars - quite a lot of dollars actually on popular websites. The advertising agencies use them because they thrive on demographic data and can track which websites you go to only if you visit sites that contain adverts from that particular domain. To delete your cookies, in IE go to Tools > Internet Options and click on the button that says "Delete temporary files, history, cookies, saved passwords..." For other browsers see http://www.aboutcookies.org/Default.aspx?page=2

Tracking cookies are picked up simply by surfing the web, and many sites will have advertisers etc embedded into them which will also show more tacking cookies in your Temp folders as they track activities, visits, destinations etc. They are quite harmless in the majority of cases, but I clear mine out each day using CCleaner, it deletes your cookies and history: http://www.download.com/CCleaner/3000-2144_4-10315544.html Click on the Cleaner Tab on the left and under Windows tick all boxes in Internet Explorer. If you save your username/passwords untick 'Autocomplete Form History' and under System tick all boxes except the last 2, and leave Advanced all unticked. Then click on the Applications tab and tick all apart from Saved form information if you use Firefox and save your username/passwords Click on Options then Settings and under Secure Deletion mark the Secure file deletion (slower) and use the drop down to select Guttman (35 passes) One click and it's all done. Merry Christmas. Please note that some files are 'locked' but will be removed on shutdown.
