Why does my computer shut off when i open mediafire.com?

Every time i load any link from mediafire.com, my computer just instantly turns off. It doesnt shut down, it just goes black. I have to unplug and re plug in the power chord to get it to start. Why is this happening?! Thanks for your help!

mediafire wont cause that, sounds like a virus or computer error try downloading spybot or malwarebytes from download.com to see if anything pops up, both are free

Well,that has never happened to me, mainly because I don't go on mediafire. I don't know, I'm just too scared to, if you didn't know already mediafire, limewire, files4share etc. are notorious for being somewhat illegal and full of viruses. I wouldn't go on there anymore if you can avoid it. And scan your computer to see if any viruses did get in your computer just to make sure.
