How do you get your old computer history to show?

Is there any possible way I can get rid of my computer website history?

  • I need the history on my computer deleted completely...like so professional computer workers or whatever cant even see it...like..its bad. i know i shouldnt of gone on these sites buts i need to get rid of it before my parents see it and kick me out of the house and send me to therapy...yes its that bad, and i know im really stupid, but please is there any way i can delete my history browser COMPLETELY AND FOREVER DISSAPEARED?

    Get "ccleaner" it's free and it cleans temp files and history. To be sure about all history being gone click "tools", then "delete browsing history", then click "delete all" Go to tools" again, and "internet options" and "advanced", then under "browsing" check " close unused folders in history and favorites" and uncheck "use inline AutoComplete" then under "security" check "empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closed". If the government or somebody who has tons of money to waste on it wants to do deleted files recovery on your hard drive you'll be found out. You can make it hard by shredding the deleted files acrapload of times. Now, say ten rosaries and don't do it anymore. You're forgiven.

Usually you can just go to- Tools - Clear Recent History. Good luck with the deleting porn

It depends on your browser. In Firefox, you can go to Tools - Clear Recent History. Also you might want to consider deleting your cookies. Some site owners when they build web sites put some cookies on your computer for identification. You may want to delete it also by going to Tools - Options - Show Cookies - remove All Cookies. Hope this helps.

there is no easy way to do so, and none that will allow you to keep your data. shouldnt have done it if it was that bad/stupid. if you look around you may find the article on securely deleting data form a hard drive, but its a bit outdated from what I know and at this point in time there are some data recovery labs that can pull data from platters without a controller or any specs on the drive, so short of destroying the drive, which has to be done correctly as well in order for it to work, you are pretty much screwed.

calm down, your parents won't go ape sh*t on you i'm sure. What internet browser were you using? internet explorer, Firefox, etc? [EDIT: As for what JIM says about them always being able to find everything, thats not entirely true as you could overwrite the hard drive with random binary, which is what "windows boot and nuke" does. Many government agencies use said program to clear their hard drives of sensitive information. Simply Right click on Internet Explorer.. After that click Properties.. After that click on Clear History Finally click on Delete cookies.. You have done it!!
