  • Someone has asked me to upload a document and an mp3 to there FTP account, they have given me all the details to log into the FTP account but when I log in all i see is a folder and i haven't a clue how to upload to this folder? i tried to drag and drop but that doesnt start the upload it just plays the mp3??

  • Answer:

Make sure you are using an ftp program such as the free FileZilla. If dragging doesn't work then try double clicking on the file to start the transfer. It shouldn't be hard, its just a matter of getting it right.

verify registration code pfconfig to forward codes o router.

You can do this from your browser as all major browsers have built in FTP clients. Go to the FTP address and log in using your browser. Open Windows Explorer and drag the files you want to transfer from that into the browser window. FTP clients like Filezilla - http://filezilla-project.org/ - and WinSCP - http://winscp.net/ - open two panes, one for the remote computer and one for yours. You simply dra the files between the two to copy them between the computers.
