If I download remote desktop apps onto my iPad, will it increase the risk of getting a virus?
-
I am thinking of downloading remote desktop apps such as gotomypc, slasptop remote desktop, remote desktop lite, etc onto my iPad so that i can use my windows programs when i am away from my pc. Before I do so, I am wondering if this will increase the risk of putting my iPad at risk for viruses. I know that Mac os and iOS systems are unlikely to get infected by viruses. But by downloading a remote app will it increase the risk since I will be virtually using my pc on my iPad. How will using a remote app work on the iPad?

Answer:
Of course not! A virus will never jump through a one-way remote control, and give your iPad a Mac virus. Yes, you're safe.
