What's a disaster recovery plan?

I am a writing research paper on Disaster Recovery.The minimum word count is 3,000 words.I have already talked?

about the four components of a Disaster Recovery Plan: emergency plan, the backup plan, the recovery plan, and the test plan. I thought I could research companies that have experienced a disaster, and how they recovered from that disaster; whether they initially had a DRP (Disaster Recov. Plan), or if they didn't, did they decide to implement one. I just can't seem to find enough information about this; all I keep getting is non-useful sources from my school's electronic database. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. And I prefer that the articles are peer-reviewed.
