Why can't I update Windows or antivirus?

I cant enter avast, norton, or update my avast antivirus?

i cant enter avast website or norton... but i can enter google, yahoo... when i try to access avast website it said problem loading page.. and i cant download spyware terminator.. it said unable to connect to server.. i try the setting in my firewall.. but i cant understand what to do.. btw im using firefox. please help me... thx
