Magazine subscription problem?

Magazine subscription problem?

  • I am a current subscriber to Seventeen magazine. i was entering for a freebie, but i didnt realize that the freebie i was entering made you start a trial of seventeen. now i have like a bill and i cant pay it and if my parents find out they might get mad. Im alreadya subscriber too and i sent a email to customer service asking to stop this new subscription. so is everything going to be alright? if i dont pay will they just not send the magazines that i need to pay for? or am i in like trouble??

  • Answer:

Just write cancel on the bill and send it back. You don't have to send the magazine back because it was a trial. In fact I subscribe to :"Lucky" and only pay for one subscription but they always send me two magazines. When a magazine company asks you to request a trial subscription and send a bill me statement. Your under no obligationn to pay them. There's no wiritten contract, they just want to see if you do enjoy reading their magazine, you may suibscribe to them. No fancy emails orm letters, just write 'cancel" on the bill and mail it back to them. If you don't want to keep the magazine write RTS on the mailing label and the Us Post Office will see that it goes back to them.

you should be okay if you sent them an email...they should respond in the next few days and if they dont you can call them or just tell your parents...because if you dont pay them it will be on your credit
