How often can I use a semi-permanent hair dye?

Help. Teen girl who wants to experiment with semipermanent hair colors...Pics.?

  • Okay. So I want to dye my hair...and I really want to dye my bottom layers black and my top layers dark red (dont ask why, Idk, i'm bored with normal hair). And my mom almost died when I told her...So we agreed that I would use SEMI permanents first and see how we liked it...So. What semipermanent dyes would be good for this? I don't think red would look good on you. black and purple maybe.

i personally like your hair but i like garnier fructis semi perminent dies. i thin a monroe would be good on you. i have a marylin and a lip ring. i want a nose pericing though

so your mom is letting you pierce your face... but she doesn't want you to dye your hair... weird.. er... semi perm colours won't show up really well in your hair. Red will look basically the same. You will need to bleach out your hair on top if you want it to look right. The black might be ok, but the "skunk colouring" is best left to a pro. (I'm not making fun of it. I had platinum blonde on top with dark purple on the bottom for a while. It was cool......)

omg that would be so pretty! definately red and black.or maybe black,and like a bright blue? hot topic sells temporary dyes.i didnt think they would work,but then my best friend triedd the blue,and it was awesome.it stayed very well,and it comes out after 15-18 washes. about the monroe,i think that would be so radd on u! i like monroes,but i like snakbites betterr.XD bii!hope i helped!
