How do I give my Modern Prom Dress A Dress a Vintage look?

How do I give my modern prom dress a more vintage look? I have a Pale short pink and silver *sweetheart* top/neckline dress with the bottom puffy like a *tu tu * Me and my prom date have decided to go our masquerade themed prom as gangsters from the decades 1920's-1940's. So that's where you come in I need help making my dress fit one of those time periods!!! Please give me links of photos or videos.Or any tips you have to offer. I need accessories and shoes and also hair styles. Please help and nt give me pictures of dresses I already have my dress in which I cant return :-( so I have to go with what I have. I know im asking for alot but it will be a great credit to me if someone- anyone at all, would help me in my dilemma!!! Thanks in advance. P.S. Im not looking to get my dress tailored or anything as well. Black fishnets and black heels. Smoky eyes with bright red or vibrant pink lipstick. Get some black gloves that go to at least your elbows. Pearls. Try and get a headpiece of some type, maybe a black fascinator (google it) or a headband with a feather in it. Also you could get a black feather boa and a long cigarette holder. Good luck!
