What is your favorite site to blog on?

What blog site is best to create my blog on?

  • I already have a personal blog on Tumblr. I am now starting up a blog based around beauty (original I know) but it's for my course. I will be doing things like video reviews, finding the best products for value and comparing them to more expensive alternatives - you get the idea. I've noticed that a lot of blogs tend to be on Blogger, they seem to have more of a professional manner on Blogger than on Tumblr. So, in your opinion, what site would you recommend starting my beauty blog on? Any suggestions welcome :)

    Blogging platforms are all good in their own way and personal preference plays a big part. Posterous & blogger are my personal favourites but you should experiment with a few and see how you get on with them. If you want to host your own blog then download Wordpress and install it onto your own website. A full list of blogs can be found in the article below.

well, tumblr is very more, erm, 'facebook like' in my OWN opinion, i love tumblr but i only use it to express my feelings. for my beauty blog i use blogger/blogspot, its better because you can change the design and add your own backgrounds. if you look around on tumblr many people have the same display, maybe different colours but morealess the same, however on blogspot you can change it aroung more. you can keep track of your followers, and how many views you get on blogger. so i would recomend blogger. blogspot or lookbook:) lookbook is good for beauty/fashion etc x
