How to loose tan and have a healthy looking skin?

Any tips to prevent my fair skin from looking ghostly white without using too much tan that i look orange?

  • i live in europe, and because of cold weather my skin is really fair. i think it looks fine in person...but in pictures my skin shows up as being ghostly white...and thats WITH make-up!! i hate wearing fake tan as i refuse to look like an orangetang, lol! i know i could put on a little of like that Johnsons stuff that you gradually build up but i just want to avoid being fake all together....also i hate when fake tan wears off and its all streaky..then its just obvious your wearing fake tan!

    if you want a tan i know u said you didn't want a fake tan but if you get a medium level spray tan at sun tan city (versa spa) it looks very natural that's what i used to look a little tan since i was fair complected i had the same worry but it came out great hope this helps good luck :)

Uhm, change the lighting on your camera so it's more dim, and dont take pictures in direct sunlight. Your right, you shouldnt try to be something your not. good call lol

Well, go out to your local drugstore, and buy a slight darker foundation! Or, i'd recommend a tinted moisturizer because it is a LOT better for your skin. Or, use a slight darker powder! OH AND YOU SHOULD CHOOSE A PRODUCT THAT HAS VERY LOW OR NO SPF SPF attracts light and makes you look very white in photographs. Just remember when you're putting it on, to bring it down to your neck! Then for your body use a self tan that's a natural color. Choose a color that would be a skin tone. Also, for your pictures change up your lighting.
