  • Answer:

ok so i am in 9th grade and 15 i did start wearing makeup in eighth grade and i had like revlon color stay and everything i do have on and off acne just like you right now- i just use the makeupforever's full cover concealer for my dark circles (i still have them after applying it -___-) and use that for anywhere I need to cover (acne) and just use benefit's hello flawless powder. I find that this is enough for me I suggest u try that too.. just concealer and powder. I got tired of wearing foundation too..

the truth is that anything other than moisturizer that sticks in your pores is going to block them and cause acne or make existing acne worse. your best bet is to be brave and only wear concealer under your eyes if you need it. cream concealers/foundations block pores the most, liquid blocks less but is still pretty bad, and powder products cause the least blockage. if you are already using an acne treatment that will clear your skin, just stick to undereye concealer and powder foundation over your moisturizer. this will help your treatment work more effectivly as it isnt fighting residue makeup to get into your pores. bare minerals and physicians formula are good brands to look for when buying powdered products :) good luck!

I use tinted moisturizers a lot, I have clear skin so foundation just feels so heavy and gross. The best one I've ever used was Mary Kay Tinted Moisturizer With Sunscreen SPF 20, $4.99 at most drugstores. But another good one that might cover more of your acne is Jane Nearly Foundation Tinted Moisturizer, $4.99 If your looking for a really good one and don't care about the price this one is rated 9.4/10 for best moisturizer ever! It's called - Bobbi Brown Extra SPF 25 Tinted Moisturizing Balm, $50. I really liked it when I tried it out, but it's wayy to costly for me. Also when I get a little "zit" I put concealer under the moisturizer then a little bit more moisturizer on top and kind-of blend it. It should work for you too! Have you tried visiting a local dermatologist? Most will except your parents insurance so it's just like going to the doctors. He or she can give you prescription strength acne meds. My sister did this and hers went away in a few weeks. Try it!:)

A Tinted Moisturizer is a great idea! If you find that you need Concealer then use it :) I suggest you get Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, I have been using Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer for almost a year, I think. It may be longer. Mine has an SPF of 20 which I like although I'd like it to be even higher. It says it's illuminating and the only thing that resembles a color on it is on the back, near the bottom of the tube, it says Natural Radiance. I hope this is the same thing you all are talking about. When Prescriptives went off the market, I still had some of their foundation left but I decided that it just sat on my skin and didn't give it any glow. I seriously went out of the house a few times with nothing but my moisturizer and blush on because I thought I looked better without the makeup. I went to Sephora and the girl showed me this and it was absolutely what I was looking for but didn't know it! I love this product and wouldn't be without it. I don't wear it around the house but I put some on, and a little blush before I go anywhere and I like the way I look.

Physicians Formula Healthy Wear Tinted Moisturizer product isn't for everyone. If you don't like to feel like you're wearing anything, this is not the product for you. If you're used to the feel of "something" being on your face, and you want great coverage and sun protection, this is certainly worth a try! IMHO, the shades do tend to run on the dark side. l

yes, try it! Look up online what is best for your specific skin type. You can also go into dept. stores or sephora.

Don't wear makeup, until your skin clears up. Then, use a tinted moisturiser, with matching shade concealer if needed. This will be much lighter for your complexion. If you have a flare up, you may be able to continue with those, even lightly cover the acne, so it doesn't look so bad.
