Is milk a good moisturizer?

Cleanser, toner, moisturizer.. suggestions?

  • I'm currently using the Lise Watier 3 in 1 cleansing milk, a Vichy normal skin toner, and Vichy moisturizer (with spf). These are a bit pricey, so I'm starting to look into regular brands. Also, my skin is normally quite clear, but since I started using the Vichy products I've noticed more pimples than I've had before. I don't know if it is the toner (I've never used toner before, just started a few weeks ago with this product) or the moisturizer. So, as the question states above, what are your suggestions for new, affordable skin products? :) Oh, and also.. is toner necessary? I just thought I would give it a try, but I'm curious is if it actually is a must or not in the skin care routine. Thanks!

    Hey, I think you should stop using the Vichy products if they're making you break out. :) I really, really love the Aveeno Clear Complexion cleanser, it's legitimently amazing <3 It clears your skin up pretty fast. For a moisturizer try Nivea--they're pretty good. As for a toner, I don't think it is exactly neccessary but if you want to use one try Witch Hazel, it not only great for skin but lots of other things as well. But it doesn't smell the best ;)

I would definitely recommend 'simple'. It really works for me seeing as I am a teenager, and it really takes care of my skin during this time. They have a HUGE range of products too, including toner and are cheaply based! If you are from the UK they sell their products in most stores, I get mine from Superdrug, if not their sure to have an on-line website :)

yes toner is really good to have because after you cleanse and you get the toner and wipe the face with a cotton ball you will be shocked on how much dirt is still on the face after you cleanse so ya its important to use a toner a cleanser a right daily moisturizer and a face scrub and a face mask every twice a week to keep the skin fresh. pimples tea tree oil you can get a spray in lush that works great or you can go to the body shop and get the oil. or you can use clean and clear spot treatment its in any drug store and that really works two i have it if i get any pimples and it makes then go away the next day.
