How to apply makeup?! For a teen?

  • All the girls in my school seem to wear their makeup really nice, pretty and not to much. But whenever I apply makeup it always looks awful, like I'm not applying it properly. I don't really know how to apply eyeliner or how to get a brown smokey eye look, but don't want to spend to much time on it....really light too, not all raccoon eyes and such. Link to videos are helpful, I tried looking up on to apply eyeliner on youtube but nothing really helps...thankss>_<

(: Make sure your brushes are nice as well, I recommend sigma's brushes! They are very nice and professional (i have them!) and the price is not bad at all! www.sigmamakeup.com Remember there's a difference between the waterline and the lower lash line. Applying eyeliner to your waterline looks a lot cleaner and prettier than a raccoon eye all underneath your eye unless it's smuged an with a like-look.

Before i read the youtube comment i was going to tell you about one. Well, if you feel like it, you can go to youtube and look up quick school makeup for teens. It shows many links. It's great!!! Just follow the directions! It took me a few tries to get it right the first time! Good luck! ^_^

michellephan is really good at makeup tutorials.. she explains everything really thoroughly too. and for brown smokey eyes i usually put a light nude color on my lids and then put a dark brown on the outer part of my lids and then! get a different brush and try to blend them a little bit.. i hope i helped :D

i use dinair airbrush makeup and it rocks! ive been using it for 3 years and its my fav makeup hands down! it covers everything making my skin look flawless but it still looks super natural! it stays on all day and is also all water based so its not bad for my skin cause it doesnt clog my pores...anywho hope i helped..=)

Ok I had the same problem I'm 13 and when ever I applyed eyeliner I looked like a racoon the trick is to put it on your water line if u don't know wat that is then put ur finger under ur eye one ur skin and pull ur skin down the pink moist looking skin is ur waterline as for ur eye lids that jut takes alot a practice but for more help go on YouTube and search juicystar07 and in like all her videos she explains wat this is

well join the club bot what i do is (hope ure eyes arent sensitive or u have really gewd eyeliner) too put the pincil on ure bottom eyelid close ure eye with the pencil and move it back and forth to give a lil eyeliner and then use a light shimmer ( a little lighter then ure skin tone) put it on your eyelid and browbone. take some mascara place it on ure eye and scrub it on bottom and tob eyelashes gently ( dont kill urself here) well hope it works for u duz ferr me
