choose 3 colors of eye shadow, 1 very light, 1 very dark, and 1 in between. take the lightest color and apply all over eye lid, brow bone, and a little in the inner corner of the eye. apply the medium color only on lid, then take a smudger (little sponge type thing on a stick((normally comes with eye shadow) and smudge a little of the darkest shade in the crease. and there you have a smokey eye :D
