How to properly apply makeup?

what i do is... first i clean my face, apply toner, and then moisturizer. and before i put on my moisturizer i like to mix it up with some loose powder to make a glowy look. then i apply some conceler with my fingers and spread it around by dabbing. then some pressed powder, just a little bit all over. and then over the powder what you do is apply liquid foundation [if you want] with a makeup sponge. then blush. smile, and then apply it to the apples, part that sticks out, of your cheeks for a natural look, then your eye shadow. apply it, then eyeliner, then mascara and you are done!

First make sure your face is clean. Then apply toner and moisturizer. You can also apply a sunblock if you choose. Then with either a makeup sponge or your fingers, apply your concealer. After that then apply your foundation, preferably with a makeup sponge. Set that with some loose or compact powder. You don't need to use too much powder, it is just to keep your foundation in place. Then you can apply your blush and eyeshadow. Apply the eyeliner last because if you apply it before, it could fade with the previous makeup that you applied. So good luck!! :)

basically whatever works for you. some people do their eyes first because then if any shadow falls on their cheeks they can wipe it off without messing up the foundation. if you are using a mineral powder foundation, you want to put something on your skin so the powder will actually stick. i have face primer, but sometimes i just wash, dry, and moisturize and apply the powder before the moisturizer is all the way dry (but not too wet either) i don't use liquid foundation so i wont be teaching that subject haha.

There are many steps, but they can be simplified! And they do not have to be in a certain set order. makeup is all about experimenting and having fun Wash face, put lotion! (so important so it doesn't cake) face primer helps your makeup last longer... but you don't HAVE to do this. using a stippling brush or a wet sponge dab your liquid foundation on.
