Can I use any airbrush to apply airbrush makeup and foundation?

  It sounds like you may have an airbrush that has a nozzle size (.02) that will work with a number of airbrush formulations on the market. I am guessing it has a grooved out chamber at the top of the airbrush, and if so you will need to be careful that you don't spill out the fluid when airbrushing the face. You will need to be sure that the compressor you have paired with that airbrush will dial down to a working pressure of 2 - 4 psi for airbrushing the face. It's all about low air pressure and smaller nozzle sizes that will give you a more control over transparency in layering your foundation color. You can always build coverage as you need it when you work in lower pressure.
