What makeup and what brand should I get?

  • I'm 5 feet tall exactly I'm going into 7th grade. I'm into eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, blush, and lipgloss. I have dark brown hair, tan skin, and brown eyes. I have really long eyelashes. What color, kind, and brand of makeup should I get that looks good with my eyes, skin, and hair?

    i'm going into 8th grade, and have the same 'looks' as you. (haha, I'm 5'4" though. don't exactly know why you mentioned that...). if you're a cheap-o, covergirl is great. as far as foundation, there is a line of it called 'clean' (i think that's what it's called...). it works great (if you're looking for it, it comes in a green compact case. Mascara, you might want something more expensive. i'd go with clinique. works great. =D eyeliner, covergirl once again. try a smoky brown, or charcoal. but you can never go wrong with black! lipgloss, i love the beauty rush lipgloss from victoria's secret. eyeshadow, i'd go with a pink-ish shade (not too dark or light. a happy medium that you're comfyy with =D) ANNNDDDD.. blush, covergirl is great too. cheaappp =D as far as face washyy stuff... the clinique acne solutions, or just clinique face care stuff, is great. if you are looking to get rid of acne scarring, get some turnaround concentrate. spendyy, but works wonderss. =D

if you're in 7th grade you don't need much makeup. Try a few select products from brands like lancome, clinique, estee lauder. I'd stick to some mascara, maybe eyeliner, and either lip gloss or blush. Don't want to look like you're trying too hard.

try almay. it has this system that you pic your eye color and it includes eyeliner, mascara and eyeshadow in one pack that will best flatter your eye color as for blush: almay. other products are very bad for your skin and cause acne such as covergirl lipgloss: MAC =]

If you dont mind spending a little cash then get MAC. Dont buy too much makeup since make up has an expire date and spending too much money would be a waste. If you are a penny pincher like i am then for mascara get rimmel london or maybelline. Some light eyeliner is good too. I would suggest pencil since its easy to use. Just dont over use. To improve your skin you could buy a few skin cleansing formulas and soaps. A good base makes for a pretty face but since we're young, you dont need much of a foundation. Use some spf lip balm and lip gloss. You should apply the spf lim balm because the gloss in lip gloss may magnify UV rays and it may cause skin cancer. (thats right. You can get cancer from your lips). Dont wear eyeshadow and if you want, get fake nails from a drugstore. Its cheap and pretty. I hope I helped.

if your on the more expensive side of the industry, try MAC, im only in sixth grade and im getting alot more MAC soon because i love it though some great eyeshadow palettes on coastalscents.com. so yea gl
