How long does it take to become a Licensed Makeup Artist?

I just want to do makeup. Not hair and nails. I found a school that does it in 9 days but I want to go somewhere where I actually have to go for like 6 months. On average how long do you go to school to become a Licensed Makeup artist?

the school im going to is a 6 week program, its in toronto called complections. on the site theres a list of all the courses you can take and how long it lasts. its a makeup school, not nails and hair,
