Does honey really help blackheads?

How to get rid of blackheads thats just won't go away?

  • i have lots of blackheads on my nose and i have tried everything! they just won't go away. i have tried the st.ives scrub, the clean and clear scrub (the one with the little blue balls) and none of them seem to work. i've also tried the egg whites and honey, that didn't help. i wash my face twice a day as well. i read that elmers glue or bioré strips work well for getting rid of them fast. is that true?? which is better? i'm tring to get rid of them before school starts ( 5 days from now :S) HELP!! :) thanks!

I've heard that Biore strips are excellent.

Tea Tree Oil, works wonders.

I have the same problem with black heads. Biore Pads don't work well on me because I have tight pores. But Biore Pads work on my mom because her poors aren't as tight. I just take tweezers with a super flat side and scrape them off because mine aren't too deep. It hurts a little but they will be gone by morning. I used to do that everynight, but I lost my good tweezers. But it did work.

Run a face sloth under hot water and press against your nose. While your nose is still wet apply the biore nose strip. This will remove most of your black heads. Repeat every 2, not 3 days. The Neutragena Wave also works great. It works blackheads up to the surface and they will be gone in days. Hope this helps! -mara
