Makeup for a natural redhead?

  • well you see i never wear makeup, but since its the weekend and my friend is coming over (who wears absolutley loads) im going to wear some. well the trouble is i dont know which eyeshadows will suit me and i was wondering if you could help? oh btw yes im a natural redhead but i dont have freckles and i have dark eyebrows&eyelashes and blue/green eyes. thankyouuu :) xxxxxxxxx

  • Answer:

You need to keep it neutral. using Brown eyeliner. and usings light brown eye shadows. like barley shades and shades of gold. Mascara should really be brown because of your colouring but i use black and im a redhead!( i also wear black eyeshadow!) Lipsticks should be pale colours. like pinks and corals and you should use a small amount of bronzer rather than pinky blushers x

I have a beautiful, natural red head friend, and she has the same features your describing...And this is what she wears: -Black/Plum eyeliner (on the inside water lines) -A crease color of like bronze or a coco brown -Then she wears a highlighter(right under the brow mixed in with the crease) of a champagne pink. I hope that helps for a non-makeup wearer:)

Don't go heavy. A moisturizer or a tinted moisturizer is optional. A primer is optional. All of this is pretty much optional xD But I would recommend you line around your whole eye with liner, don't go too thick. just line your upper and lower waterline, and your crease. Be sure to swipe it with a q-tip twice to soak up any moistuure on your waterline so it stays on. Remember that you want to check it. Depending on how dark you want it to be is how many times you will go over it and everything. I recommend a crayon-type liner. If you like eyeshadow...go with a simple creamy white color, something that doesn't stand out too much and it's more of a natural color. Prefer sparkles? You could simply use some mascara and lip balm and you wouldn't be going super overboard. It would highlight your eyes and draw some attention to your hair and facial features. Goodluck(: Questions? Highlight under the eyebrow with a white or pink, then a dark green on the crease, then a lighter green on the ball area. Put these on lightly or else you will look ridiculous like everyone else who doesn't know how to properly apply make up. The key is to enhance your natural features, not create new ones or look like a clown. Good luck.

You can look on youtube, but i think natural makeup is good. brown on the crease of your eyes with lip balm or something like that.

it realy depends on how you want to look. if u want a color i would choose a shade of blue. blue looks very good on redheaads.
