How To Apply Makeup?

How could I apply makeup to look "mysterious".?

• I'm going to a Murder Mystery Party as this girl that no one really knows who she is, she's unique, and the recommended outfit is a trenchcoat, and a fedora hat. So something kind of mysterious... :) soo, how can I put my makeup on, what colors, just everything! I don't have a clue what to do.???!!! Oh and my eyes are blue grey and small. And I have wavy red hair and I'm thinking about wrapping it around the barrel to curl it, for this look, I thought it'd look good with the hat :) any tips PLEASE pleaseplease HELP! I will award points to the best answerr!! :) I keep reposting a similar question, asking how to do my makeup, cuz no one is really giving an answer, nothing I'm looking for, if they would read the details they would see, and I really need specifics and they just say a couple words :/ so PLEASE, HELP.!!!!

  In my opinion, purple is the most mysterious color. So I'd to a purple smokey eye look. Take a light purple and apply it all over the lid, then take an extremely dark purple and apply it in the crease of your eye (this will look silly, of course so take a blending brush to blend the colors together. a smokey look is ALL about blending) then take a black eyeshadow and mix it with a purple and apply it in the outer V, this will make it look deeper, and I guess more "myserious." Take a white eyeshadow and highlight your inner corner and your eyebrow, of course. Then take the dark purple you used in your crease and apply it to your lower lashline. Then take a black pencil liner and line your waterline, darkening up the eye. This will also transform the whole look of your eye. Take a liquid liner and line the top lid, I wouldnt reccommend winging it out though, since your outer corner is already so black. The next step is easy, MASCARA MASCARA MASCARA. You want nice, bold lashes. Then, for even more thickness, apply fake lashes. When the glue dries, curl your lashes and put another coat of mascara on to blend them in. Since it's such a dramatic eye look, I'd do a nude lip with a clear coat of gloss. Another mysterious makeup look is the red lip, it's sexy, but can also make your lips look small, so be aware if you have thin lips. For this I'd do a STRONGLY winged liquid liner on your lashline, and mascara and fake lashes as well. Then apply, obviously, a bold red lip. You can do the red lip and the dramatic eye if you WANT, but typically the makeup rule of thumb is dramatic eye, low key lip; natural eye, dramatic lip.
