How long will hair grow in 1 year?

If hair grows faster in the summer...then will it grow faster all year long when I move to Florida?

  • Well, I had a hair cut and it's awfully short...when dry it doesn't even reach to the tip of my neck. Well, I'm moving to Florida and was just reading recently how hair grows faster in the summer. So since Florida most of the year is in summer will my hair grow fast all year round? Also how much faster does it grow in the summer?

  • Answer:

i lived in florida. it gets cold there too. it got down to 10 degrees last year.

Just don't move to Alaska. You might go bald.

It gets cold in Florida. You should move to Equador lol. But, I personally believe the increase in growth is due to the extra vitamin D your body receives from the sun.. I'm not a scientist I just had a friend who's hair was growing very slowly and it was due to vitamin D deficiency (she lives in Alaska) So, what if we have deficiency in the winter but, in the summer we are getting all the nutrients we need so hair grows at it's optimal speed? Just a thought..
