• Hi! Thanks for answering my question! I dyed my hair a black color that faded to medium brown within a week. I used garnier nutrisse (or whatever) that lasts up to 6 weeks or something. People are saying that THAT isn't a permanent hair dye. Where and how do I find permanent hair dye? Does it say right on the bottle? Do I need to go to a special store? Is it only certain brands? This is where a lot of salons get their professional hair color products. They carry several brands and, unless they have changed their hiring policy completely, their employees have gone through beauty school and know what they are talking about. It's like speaking to a beautician. And the stores are everywhere. In my area, they tend to flock around a Wal-Mart, usually in an attached mini-strip mall.
