How long will it take my hair to grow?

so i have this wacky scene emo hair style going on and i really dont like it. it dosnt fit me. http://data.whicdn.com/images/7907734/168108_160700990645145_159080610807183_325435_3753997_n_large.jpg thats an example of what i have so i have layers that are like 2 inches long and i want to know how long it will take for those layers to grow out to my shoulders, i trim hardly anything off of my hair like hardly any ends and my hair haas been growing alil faster after i started to do that. now can you guys estimate how long it will take to grow out those small layers to little longer than my shoulders? i will NOT take vitemans. i dont want my body to grow right now (growth spurt. drinking coffee)
