is there an easy way to trim your own hair,i know hairdressers are going to be saying,oh no,dont, but i need to pay my bills first and a hairdressing visit would be a luxury to me i just cannot afford,has any one any tips on how i could trim my own layers please.ps i do not drink or smoke so i cannot say i can stop one of those to be able to pay for bills and get a haircut,my utility bills and food come first.i just need a tip on haircutting :)

Hi susan type how to trim your own hair into a youtube search There are tons of how to videos there.
It's very difficult to trim the layers without haidressers training and chances are you'll make a total mess.So just keep to the fringe...I'm sure you'll manage that...........till you can afford a proper job.......... Or: you could try those trainees hairdressers looking for models. They'll cut your hair at little or no cost,but it might not be the style you want.
