When you die your hair red, when it fades will it go ginger?

In a salon they will tell you how to do up keep, it ends up costing a ton more than what you thought. but will look fairly cute.

It wont go properly ginger, but it'll fade to like a coppery colour if you dont keep the colour up. As long as you dye it every 4/6 the same colour it should be fine..

If your hair is dark then no, it wont go ginger providing you don't bleach your hair before using the red dye.

No it will not go ginger. My friend has red hair and when it starts to fade it goes darker red, not ginger. but just re-dye it every 4-6weeks then it wont go a different colour. Just use a good conditioner that's anti fade :)

I just dyed my hair red a few weeks ago it dosent really fade. My hair is brown naturally to it just gets darker.

No I dyed my hair dark red and it faded and now it just looks dark brown with a slight tinge of red.
