How do you keep your hair straight after you've already straightened it?

How do u keep chemically straightened hair silky and smooth?

  • Im african american and i have curly hair, I get my profesenally chemecally straightened, and always, after a couple days my hair becomes frizzy and coarse. Not smooth and silky like it was right after i got it straightened. Is There any products to make my hair stay silky and smooth? Also sometimes my hair gets wavy again when i go in the shower, is there anything i can do about that?

  • Answer:

First of all, your stylist should be recommending the products she is using to make your hair silky and smooth. You should be waiting at least 72 hours before washing your hair because it can interact with the chemicals. I would recommend buying CHI Silk Infusion, it is an oil that smooths frizz and keeps hair silky. This is a band aid though, it will only help with style, not actually help with the texture of your hair permanently. You should really call your stylist and tell her your concerns and buy the products she is using on your when you get your hair relaxed.
