I put way too much detangler in my hair, and its stringy and greasy - what should I do?

You should definitely take a shower! It wont be good to leave all that in your hair.

Maybe wash it out but don't re style it. Wash it and leave it to air dry after drying it a little with a towel. Next time if you're hair is really tangled, instead of using a brush to de-tangle it, use a comb. Start from the bottom of your hair and work your way up. This will cause less damage to your hair and cause much less breakage. Good luck!

If I were you, I'd just wash it again

You should wash your hair very well with a lot of shampoo and just a little conditioner. It might build up on your scalp and roots if you don't wash it out.

wash it again and leave the conditioner in for a few minutes before washing it out. that should make it soft and shiny as well as getting rid of most tangles.

Wash it and let it air dry.
