How long for a ultrasound scan?

  • Hi I went to the doctors on the 3rd of November i am currently 7 weeks pregnant and he is booking me in for a dating scan. How long did you have to wait for the appointment to come through???? Im so impatient.(UK) x

    i got in in 1 day. it was not scary. the scan took about 5 min.

i got my appointment within a few weeks u are normally aound 12 weeks when u have a dating scan x

I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks, but that was b/c I was spotting and had cramps and they wanted to check the status of my baby (which he is doing great! ) I'm now 11 weeks and I go in for my second ultrasound the 18th.... and by then ill be around 13 weeks. It depends on the doctor and your situation and how your comming along. So I guess it can be different for every woman.
