What do you do at a girls quinceaƱera party?

Daughter is having 13th bday party this Sat. none of the girls have let her know they are coming?

  • we are new to this school, but from the first day my daughter made some new friends and wanted to invite them to her party. They all sounded as if it was great, but not a one of them has committed to coming. This is middle school, so I don't have the luxury of knowing the kids, muchless the parents since they only talk at school I wouldn't care, but I am paying for a dance studio where the girls can have a hip hop dance party. Eight girls are invited to this and then four are supposed to come to sleepover with crafts, food, and music. A big party plan for us a nd she's really excited - the only ones that we know are coming are her very loyal friends from her old school- 2. That's a big party for 3 girls. Should I cancel the dance party and lose my deposit? But then again, what if the kids show up at the studio without telling us they are coming? All it would take for me to know is a little time from the parents to make a simple call- but then again what if the invites never reached the parents? I hate this, I wanted to do something special for my daughter, and now I'm afraid it's only going tomake her sad! Help!!

  • Answer:

What I've learned (through experience) is to put RSVP on the invitations and if they have not called within 3 days of the party, call them. People are so busy these days that they could have forgotten. It wouldn't hurt to call them and remind them.
