Where in Philadelphia can I go to be unskilled labor?

How long did it take you to go into labor?

  • I will be 40 weeks pregnant in 3 days with my second child. The first was fast and easy with labor and this one just seems to drag on; being dilated a 3 and 75% effaced for 3 weeks already. So my doctor has scheduled an induction this Saturday (my due date). I've tried walking a ton to speed up labor and it doesn't seem to work. Haven't tried anything herbal yet, and I'm not bored enough to do the nipple stimulation. So question being, if I had sex, how long could it take to go into labor? I know it will vary, I know what it does and how it can naturally induce, but if you have tried it, how long did it take you to go into labor?

    I tried all those things too and they never worked for me... I even tried the herbal stuff. I was 2 weeks overdue when I got induced. lol. i saw this video on youtube about getting scared into labor.. it might horrify you or make you laugh... i thought both. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXN35Y1iO6Q

i didnt have sex, but from my experience with my second child through induction (i was 41 weeks) was easy and fast, they started me on the drip at 9 am, broke my water at 10 30 and i had him at 1103 am easy, a lil painful after the broke my water, but it was soooo much better than me going natural with my first

my first child i was a week late and i did castor oil and went into labor but it was long, my second i was induced on my due date, and my third i was a week early just laying in bed and started feeling pain and went to the hospital and had the baby 4 hours later. ive done the walking stripping of membrane, sex all that . castor oil and just waiting is the only thing that seemed to work. although castor oil sucked cause its a laxative, and u can figure the rest out yourself lol
