Is it normal to feel cramping during ovulation?

What could be the reason for the cramping/ovulation pain(after ovulation day)?

  • My period ended on the 15th of this month, according to every site possible, my fertile days started the 17th. I had unprotected sex, on the 16th, and then again on the 19th, i believe my ovulation day was the 21st or 22nd. And every ovulation day I get ovulation pains on one side, and it usually starts in the morning. Ever since I had sex, i have had small tiny cramping nothing bad. And then Tuesday around 6pm, I started having cramping again, like I was just about to start any second! It then turned into a combo of period cramps, and ovulation pain. It went on for the rest of the night. I had sex again last night, and then this morning, i was having SOME cramping. Nothing bad. Now, I have been pregnant before, and before I had found out, I would spot after sex, my boobs were immediately sore. Im not having any symptoms like that, so I don't think I am pregnant. I don't feel it. So I guess Im just curious as to what it could be, cause my periods are very regular, no in between spotting, no cramping, my boobs don't even hurt before I start. Could it just be weird stuff going on, or ovulating twice? Of course, there is always a chance to become pregnant with having unprotected sex, but I don't think I am. Thanks!
