How to find a Babysitting job?

I have tried EVERYTHING, I personally handed out business cards all over my neighborhood, I put up posters at the Grocery store, I have babysitting experience, but those jobs are very occasional.I also have taken the Babysitting course and CPR Training. Any suggestions would help! Thanks!

Ask people you know if they need a babysitter. Personally, I'd never hire someone I didn't already know well to watch my kids. Most people are the same way, so advertising to strangers is not the best plan. Also, with the economy in the toilet, more and more families are getting relatives/friends to babysit for free, so that's probably why you're having trouble finding something.
