How reliable is an ultrasound scan?

HOW CAN WE KNOW IN ULTRASOUND SCAN PICTURE REPORT ,IT IS BABY OR BOY?

    At about 20 weeks, a skilled ultrasound operator may be able to see the penis of a baby boy - sometimes they can't tell though.

I promise 100% that it is a baby. If you want to know the sex of the child ask the technician.

i have 3 girls and pregnant with the 4th girl... if you have a pic of the thighs open and where the genital area would be the doctor told me 3 white lines means a girl and 2 white lines means a boy.. i dont know what a boy ultrasound looks like but i think u would probably be able to tell if its a boy..@ ALICE YES SOME DOCTORS DO TELL U THE SEX.. ITS NOT ABOUT CARING WHAT THE SEX IS, ITS ABOUT PLANNING FOR EVERYTHING ELSE

wht difference does it make 2 u whether its a boy or a girl ultra sound is done 2 check the physical growth of a foetus & not its sex the main motto is 2 know whether the foetus is growing at a normal rate or not wht matters is ur baby & ur wifes health & not the sex of the baby you should be dam happy tth ur wife concieved thts wht matters the most NO DOCTOR WILL TELL U THE SEX NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU R READY 2 PAY enjoy the gift of fatherhood --------------------------------------… @ angela & metal i am damn proud tht i belong 2 india where the docs dont tell abt the sex of a foetus, we did a ultra sound from a technician whos like a family friend even then we didnt ask him nor did he tell us abt my babys sex & i am proud 2 be a father of a 2 1/2 year old baby girl
